CLUB XES
Club Xes is a well known gay club, located in Carlisle Street. This club offers all gay people free entry except for Thursday. Club Xes is closed on Monday nights. Because it is not located in city centre, it is advisable to get a taxi for about £5 from city centre. Club Xes is open on Friday and Saturday nights till 05:00. The encoles courtyard at the side is an ideal place to cool down or spend some intimate time with your partner.

DEMPSEYS
Dempseys is a gay bar and club. Dempseys is located near the big government building at the end of the Moor. This is a member’s only club with a £1 joining fee. Until very recently Dempseys was the only full-time gay bar and club within walking distance from Sheffield city centre. Wednesdays is known for its Karaoke nights. Downstairs you would find a bar area, with searing and food. Upstairs is a small dance floor. There is also a room with a pool table and cocktail bar.

OUT
OUT is a committee-run monthly club night, held on Tuesdays at The Raynor Lounge. This night is dedicated to gay people! Opening times are 21:00 – 02:00, with a booking fee of £2.00 if you book in advance and £3 if you pay at the door.

Sheffield supports the gay community in different ways and The Shout! Centre is just one of these… The Shout! Centre is open twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 18:30 and 21:30. Tuesday evenings are known as Stepping out and dedicated to new visitors. Thursday evenings are Moving On sessions and a program of workshops and discussions takes place.
